My mind and body burned. I thought of the Greeks. Yes. The Greeks. It was they who espoused the absolute necessity for a wit sharp enough to flay the tongues of their enemies and brute force to crush the empty skulls that remained. The regimen I had undertaken would be the most arduous I had ever endured, but it would fit the herculean stature of the task that lay ahead, the assassination of Rock n’ Roll’s sacrificial lamb and ultimate catalyst of the decline of western civilization, Kurdt Cobain. In preparation for the mission I had employed the “device” to undergo many test runs into the past. I had massacred many lesser bands in the process. Gin Blossoms, Candlebox, and the Toadies were just a few of the weaklings that had fallen by the wayside. These spats served as means of not only honing my skills, but provided me with ample remains of my victims to create a new type of workout routine, the likes of which no one had ever seen. I would use the skulls of of the dead to ravage my body into a taut glaze and with the aid of Black Magic imbue my physique with the discarnate power of my vanquished foes. To aid in this endeavor the date of my departure would be that of the ancient festival of Samhain. With the veil between worlds lifted I would be able to maximize the lingering power of the Aos Si and fold it into my own. As a contingency I knew that I must document the process for my future selves in the event of my failure. The Resistance had recently begun to research the possibility of clone technology in order to carry on the mission if I failed. Before my departure I would donate a hefty sample of my jism as to provide them with ample material with which to conduct their experiments. With the hour fast approaching I knew that there was no more left to do. My fate and the world’s was in the hands of the Old Ones now.
